UPMC Presbyterian and Montefiore hospital operating room staff and administration needed a better way to monitor the cases running in the 53 operating rooms.
Panasonic cameras, AMX control and RPC Video design and integration provided the answer. Observation stations that can access cameras in both hospitals in one easy to use interface.
The operating rooms are tabbed in groups of 16, arranged by hospital.
Simply touch the OR picture you want to see and the OR video comes up full screen, full motion, 30 fps video
If the panel is unattended for one minute the screen reverts to a secure splash screen. Access to the touch screen is protected via password.
