This
unassuming building is a Penn State University lab for the training of
aspiring crime scene investigators that search for clues to solving mysteries
every week. Crime scenes can be staged in any of the rooms of this real
life, full scale laboratory.
Equipped with
cameras and microphones throughout the house (and even outside), professors
can monitor and record student observation skills.
Absent the
physical presence of the professor, students work the crime scene, digging
for the story told by the evidence. But the professors can hear and see
everything, everywhere, and can even speak to the students as they work.
It can be a little unnerving for the sleuths, but allows the teacher to
be in many rooms at once. |
